[README] Common (some unsolved) Problems in 10.12 Sierra

.....HD4400/HD4600 crashing with Safari and video playback

No solution. Use Chrome.

You can try a solution proposed here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...s-in-10-12-sierra.202316/page-19#post-1336354

If you read at the link, you get the impression it is not 100%.

Videos playback on safari works fine on my laptop with Intel HD4600 graphics. In fact, picture-in-picture mode is also working. I didn't saw any crashes.

The only clover patches I am using are "Boot glitch for 10.12" & "9 MB frame curser bytes patch".

Screenshot attached.

The problem only happens with certain videos/certain websites. Try some content on theverge.com.

Oh. It did crash on theverge.com. Who uses safari anyway.

you may use AppleALC.kext

use AppleALC.kext see attach
where I need to install this in L/E or EFI/Clover/Kext/Others and what layout-id I have to set for AppleALC because in my DSDT I m using Layout-id :3. how I get vanilla AppleHDA for this.

Hi Rehabman. Just thought you might want to add this to you're list on this thread. 3 Monitors with Intel HD4600 in 10.12 are problematic. Having 3 monitors breaks Shutdown, Restart, Sleep also random Kernel Panics. 2 monitors have no problems.

Youtube is fine. Websites such as Radio Streaming or Live TV streaming are problematic and causes lock ups.

Any solution for volume key?

Rare to have two external ports on a laptop (HDMI/DP)...
