Sorry but doesn't work on Sierra

Quick thank you to @toleda and @tigersoul925 for work as per post #1

My new project based on a Gigabyte Z170MX Gaming 5, MATX format board with ALC1150 audio.

Audio now restored after wake with the recommended tigersoul925's CodecCommander.kext and extra Clover modification to "darkwake" flag - set to "darkwake=8".

:)

I tried this in Sierra and it is working so far. Only a few sleep wake cycles since installing the kext then restarting, but I do think it's working for me. I'll edit this post if something changes after a long overnight sleep wake cycle.

Cay you upload your CodeCommander.kext file please ?
Thanks

Apologize for not getting back here sooner g4fa! I've had no sound problems since my last post. File attached.

It does work on my ASUS Maximus Ranger VII too. I left darwake=10 for my setup. Sound is on now when I wake my Hack from sleep. Thank you.

Hi,

I also found that only 0522 worked and above that failed.

Did a bit of looking and I noticed that 0522 has NO ALC1150 specific entries in its plist.

So I removed the entries from the latest CodecCommander plist (Currently 16-0528) leaving just the key

i.e.
<key>10ec_0900_HDA</key>
<string>Realtek ALC1150</string>

Removing all the custom commands etc.

Seems to be working fine and feels a bit better having the latest release.

Not sure if this is exactly ideal, but it works - perhaps the entries should be edited somehow, but they look OK as per the instructions I have read on RehabMan's site.

Cheers,

Jon.

Thanks. I will have a try.
