Learn how framebuffer patches work...

Or wait until the OP updates the patches used in post #1 for 10.12... You didn't expect to do a major update without changing anything, did you?
Thank you Rehab

Hello everyone. I send my thanks to the wonderful community for their documentation! I was able to get my UX305FA almost completely functional.

The only thing I cannot get to work is a hybrid VoodooHDA and AppleHDA setup. I have VoodooHDA working and my internal speakers, headphones, and microphone all work. I have a vanilla AppleHDA.kext in S/L/E and also installed McShmoopy's DummyHDA.kext. "Intel High Definition Audio" and "HDMI / DisplayPort Output" both show up in System Information. However, when I connect my laptop via micro-HDMI to a TV, I can still only play sound through the internal speakers of my laptop.

I have tried the various HDMI-audio patches for the Clover config.plist without success. Also, my SMBIOS is set to MacBookAir7,2 as per the guide's instructions. Does this have any thing to do with it?

Thank you!

EDIT:
I was able to get HDMI audio working! I needed the default fixes in my config.plist, vanilla AppleHDA.kext, VoodooHDA.kext, McShmoopy's DummyHDA.kext, and the HDAEnabler3.kext from the AppleHDA thread.

Now when I plug my laptop into an HDMI display, I can use the speakers. Although, I am unable to adjust the volume or mute the sound. This is inherent to OS X though, right?

You will probably need to construct a new one that matches the data now in the 10.12 kext and matches the intention of the original patch.
Ok. It is done! Now i need help with HDMI audio.

BTW, I am still alive. I figured I would wait for the first pioneers to the sierra to get the arrows shot in their backs before plunging in again....

I haven't done any Sierra on Broadwell hardware. Should be interesting. Lots of known problems though...

Hi everybody, I have installed everything as per the guide and everuthing is working but i can't get to get power management, specificaly i can't get the script to build SSDT with ssdtPRGen, it keeps giving an error about not finding the Intel core m 5y10, for the records i have the Asus zenbook UX305FA model,
