Fresh installation from El Capitan to Sierra does not update the EFI partition. All my settings/kexts/drivers and configurator edits from el capitan are still there. Any way to get a fresh EFI/clover settings?

thanks, but I did not work
I also thought about the following - you could try to disable "MIT-Advanced Frequency Settings > Advanced CPU Core Features > Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage". If that won't help, maybe enable ErP? We have the same motherboard so it's pretty weird.

My Computer is stuck with a blank grey screen for 1 hour.
I don't know is mackintosh worth the hassle?
I have tried to reboot with cache, without cache, nv_disable, etc but still the same sh...
So anyone with a brilliant idea?
If you're asking if a hackintosh is worth the hassle, that's an odd question to ask in this forum. For some, it's all about the hassle. That's part of the game. For me, who uses their box professionally, I read the forums but will wait for things to fully stabilize. Even Apple is readying an update to Sierra already. Whether this all worth it is a personal choice, not a discussion item.

Z77-DS3H with a GTX 980 here—having trouble getting the monitor back after sleep. Using the new drivers and Clover method. Anybody else seeing this?

Also, funny the things you don't expect to break on an OS update—like Karabiner, and the Razer Synapse software. Why do I never wait for the .1 release? haha

My Z77-HD3 (test rig) is also not coming back after sleep right now. Have not tried much yet to see what the problem is, so would be interested to find out if this is seen widely or not.
