Hi guys,

I would appreciate if you could recommend a hackintosh laptop with a similar configuration to my current hackintosh:

- Intel Core i7-4790K
- Samsung 500gb 850 EVO SSD
- 4x Kingston Savage 8GB D3 1866 (32gb ram)
- Seagate Barracuda SATA 2TB (could be also less)
- Gigabyte 980Ti (or at least something similar)

It´s important to me that OSX should run on the SSD and Windows 10 on the SATA - disk.

I was thinking maybe about an ASUS rog or a HP, but I´m not sure which one could work and have similar specs.
Any recommendations?

Thx a lot

No laptop will ever approach the performance offered by a high-end desktop CPU and high end dedicated graphics card.

Hi,
thx for your quick respond!

I saw your posts, but I was hoping to get some input for a hackintosh laptop with quite some power.
Do you maybe know a configuration with maximum possible power for a hackintosh with SSD and SATA?

I don't really look at laptops like that. It is why I have a desktop. In my view laptops are for light duty work and portability.

But you should look at laptops that have dedicated Nvidia graphics (no Intel graphics, no Optimus). And M.2 slot for SSD and SATA bay for HDD.

I know what you mean - that´s why I don´t work via a laptop at all in the moment. I have a macbook pro (2010) but can´t use it anymore due to kernel panics and well known apple bugs of this 2010-edition. I´ll have to travel a lot and need a hackintosh laptop with most possible power.

I saw some people successfully installed El Capitan on a ASUS GL552JX /
But the nvdia card has to be disabled in this Asus.

I saw your post here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/asus-rog-g751jy-32gb-ddr3-i7-4710hq-gtx-980m-help.152000/
is there still now way to use nvdia graphics in osx on a hackintosh?

If you want to use the Nvidia card, look for a laptop that does NOT have Intel HD+Nvidia (eg. just Nvidia).

puh.. I think all the laptops I saw have Intel HD + Nvdia graphics - actually I think I never saw a laptop with just nvdia graphics - I just googled and couldn´t find anything.. it woud be awesome if you have any suggestions
