A complete system, or do you have parts, like case, disk drives, DVD burner, power supply, etc.?

You really want us to suggest a whole system? You do know we all have our preferences, our minimum standards, right?

Case $70 - Phanteks PH-ES515P_BK
Memory $145 - G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-2400C15Q-32QVR 4x8GB DS DDR4 2400 CAS15 ($100 more for 64GB)
CPU $ 205 - i5 6500 3.2GHZ
GPU $160 - EVGA GTX950 02G-P4-2958-KR
PSU $105 - Seasonic S12+ SS-650HT
mobo $125 - Gigabyte Z170X-UD3
HDD $55 - WD 1TB 64MB Data Buffer "Blue"
DVD $25

Total: $890. You might be able to go with a $50 case and no DVD 5.25" internal burner, for a total of $845. Okay, you're twisting my arm, dang it, go with a Seasonic SSR-650RM for $90, for a total of $830. But that is the absolute lowest I would go since the PSU, RAM, CPU and GPU are non-negotiable. Then add another $8 for an anti-static strap.

No, I wouldn't go with 16GB of RAM. That's for work. At home I wouldn't go with anything less than 32GB, and if I had a Z170 mobo I would pay the extra $100 and go with 64GB. ymmv, but it really shouldn't - most RAM is always best. Never compromise on the PSU. Always get a mobo with 4 mem slots, no PCI slots, 3 PCI-E X16 slots, Intel NIC and AC1150 audio codec, always go with a GPU with heat pipes and the absolute fastest base clock. When it comes to cases - it must have great air flow, front mounted fans, top mounted fan(s), along with the typical rear fan, preferably 140mm. Those are my absolute lowest standards; there is no way that I would settle for anything less.

You can fudge a little by getting brand new (never returned, open box or refurb'ed parts) parts with rebates but chances are that they will even out any shipping charges. Rebates are a pita, I try to avoid like the plague. While I only buy Quality, where I compromised was my case - I bought an Antec 302 case that was on sale for $50 and then threw in $100 of Noctua fans at it. I like function over form - no flashing LEDS, no Terminator or Transformer cases for me. Selecting the right computer case is one of the hardest things to do, believe it or not. It's best if you checkout a lot of YouTube videos, for example,

Go to Newegg, highlight the part numbers listed, insert into their Search Box.
