I searched but not well enough. Why can't I upgrade my mackintosh to sierra? I just finished the El captain OS X install two days ago. Got my mackintosh to work.
Here is my setup w/ specs. and a picture of my issue.

You'll need to use a different System Definition, I think the one you are using is for a mac that isn't supported in Sierra.
I used iMac14,2 and have had no problems. I was told to avoid Mac Pro definitions, im sure somebody can explain it better

When you run MultiBeast and if you don't catch the "systems definitions" button and assign a Mac model it will automatically set it to MacPro 3.1. Try iMac 17.1 as you have a Skylake chip it will worked well, if it's a Haswell choose 14.2. Those both have worked out well for my builds.

Run MultiBeast again and assign a new model number, you don't have to load everything else, just go to the second to last option and choose the bottom button (I think?) and select anything above pro 3.1, iMac 10.1. It'll be OK, and you may have to go through with it again once it's installed, don't forget the "Sysyems Definitions" section before you run the beast.

I did the exact same thing, it stumped me because my config. Plist was for an iMac 17.1 and "about this Mac" showed a MacPro 3.1. I realized it after I ran MultiBeast to add a new audio driver, it changed my system def. so I checked and sure enough it's automatically entered as a default setting. The next version will probably bump it up to an iMac 10.1 or MacPro 4.1 or greater.

P.S. We're working on new graphics solutions especially AMD RX 4XX cards, you could benefit from one of these in you're system. Check out the AMD/Radeon testing thread. Go to home and select pg2 at bottom of home page. It's coming along and an easy fix is here for acceleration on these new Polaris cards.
