Hey everyone--

This is my first CustoMac and I'm hoping to build a really solid machine. I've put together a build, but I can't confirm that my graphics card is supported and it's not on any of the lists. However, it appears to be a great card and a great deal. I was hoping to order all the parts today, but I want to get some feedback from you guys first. I'm planning on using an SSD for Mac Os and all apps, and a standard HDD for all storage. I'm a graphic designer and will be using this primarily for work, and I will be using a 55" 4K Sony Bravia as the monitor. In advance, thanks sooooooooo much for any/all help you can provide! My primary concerns are: is 600W enoug power? (i believe it is), and is the graphics card compatible (i really hope it is). See below for build specs:

Memory: Ballistix Sport LT 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model BLS4K16G4D240FSE

SSD (OS and apps): SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E250B/AM

HDD (storage): Western Digital Caviar SE WD2500JD 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 1.5Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

CD/DVD: Asus Black SATA 24X DVDRW E-Green No Logo Model DRW-24F1ST/BLK/B/GEN - OEM

Thanks again for the help guys/girls and know that it will be truly and sincerely appreciated.

Looking in the forums and in the Buyer's Guide I suppose I could go with:
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 DirectX 12 04G-P4-3965-KR 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support ACX 2.0+ Video Card

but the saphire is 256 bit and 4gb and doesnt cost as much. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks so much. I guess I really should just make my life less complicated and spend a few extra bucks. Any recommendations for a video card that would run smoothly with my build and output well to my 55"?

I found this card that I think should work fine based on what I've read. again any feedback would be greatly valued. I'm still curious about whether or not 600w is enough power...

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-2978-KR 4GB FTW GAMING w/ACX 2.0, Silent Cooling Graphics Card
