I have been out of touch with Hackintosh community for about 4 years, I thought it would be a good start by posting my hardware specs here to see if people have any suggestions on compatibility.

OS: El Capitan

System: HP Compaq Elitedesk 8300 Convertible Mini Tower
Intel i5-3470 (intel HD2500)
16GB DDR3

Graphics Card Options I have :
AMD Radeon HD 6350 (Already in the System)

MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0

MSI GeForce GT 640 N640-1GD5/LP 1GB 64-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0

I am also posting screenshots from my Device Manager if it is helpful

You can probably install El Capitan on that hardware. Depends on how much of the BIOS/UEFI hp has locked out.
The HD2500 is definitely not supported but UniBeast has enough support that you should be able to install with it to get to desktop and download the El Cap drivers for the 750Ti. I would go with this card rather than the 640.

Thank you for the advice, I will get started and report back.

Should I use AMD Radeon HD 6350, for the install process and later replace with 750Ti after installing the drivers , or install with 750Ti in place will work.

Install with 750Ti may work, but you will need to use nv_disable=1 boot-arg to disable the Apple drivers during the install process. This may not work - the GTX980 I have failed to use the VESA drivers with this boot-arg and I had to use a different card to install OS X.

I could finally boot to desktop , install was 10.11.4 , in multibeast I installed , clover UEFI ,FakeSMC, NULLcpupower ,Intel1000e, USB fix for intel 7/8/9 series board.
I have also updated to OSX 10.11.6 , installed latest nvidia driver.
I can't see the screen, it all blackout after the boot process completes , my Hackintosh remains responsive , I confirmed using drive eject button. The only way to boot remains nv_disable=1

If you can boot with nv_disable flag and use the generic Apple video drivers the reason you are getting a black screen is that you may have the wrong/outdated Nvidia driver which is different with every iteration of El Cap.

For example I was not paying attention and the Win 10 Anniversary update installed itself before I could unplug the OSx drive wiping out the boot sector of my beloved El Cap drive. When I booted to that drive with Unibeast but no flag: black screen. Reboot with Unibeast and nv-disable and I get the Apple drivers. Fortunately a run of MB and reinstralling the Nvidia drivers (they reinstall themselves, see below) and all is as it should be.

As they do in Windows the Apple generic video drivers provide basic function, just not optimal function for Nvidia cards and the Apple drivers support limited resolutions. Since I use a 4k panel I see only a slow redraw, distorted image until the Nvidia drivers are installed. Then the 4k panel works optimally with my Nvidia 970. The generic Win 10 drivers support 4k but very unoptimally.

So if you can boot with the nv_disable flag and reinstall the proper Nvidia drivers that simply may be it. In fact if it was installed correctly within a few minutes, presuming you have internet connectivity, the Nvidia driver should offer to update itself.

Or simply switch to the ATI card and see if you are happy with the image quality from that. The Apple drivers should work with that card but what flags and MB settings be needed be up to you to discover.

If simply installing the proper nVidia drivers for the version of OS X you are running is not wprking add the boot-arg

nvda_drv=1

to your boot-args.

Got the Graphics card working by changing my system profile to iMac13,2 (from MacPro6,1) . . . Further discussion on my build are continued in another thread here
