ADD WINDOWS 10 BOOT EFI AFTER INSTALLED OS X & CLOVER UEFI Simple

Same here. 10.11.5 boots but WIN10 either give a repair msg or can't boot at all. Any tip?

I had the same problem. Fixed it replacing the folders of the attached zip file in the first post, with folders in EFI folder of Windows partition (or hard disk in my case). It works for me.

Can you confirm if you copied BOOTX64.efi and pasted it in the OS X EFI folder in EFI/BOOT and did you rename it as BOOTx64-win.efi?

Update... You just have to take the microsoft folder from the (untiled) HDD and paste it to efi folder in OS X HDD. From the boot loader screen you will then be able to boot from windows EFI

Update !!!! it booted once then made the system unbootable. I had to take out the HDD and put it in another hack to delete the microsoft folder and the BOOTX64-win.efi file too. Then struggle with Bios a bit then it came back to normal

Successful for me (El Capitan/Windows 10) but not with the uploading files on this thread. I used the files into my EFI folder System Windows Drive. Important, boot windows in legacy mode before copying these files on your USB stick (first time i tried under a UEFI windows boot but a file didn't copy on my USB stick because it was using by windows system.)

for those of you still looking for the solution. This is definitely the solution with also have your boot order the "Mac OS X UEFI" then"Windows UEFI" I used the parentheses because that might not be how it's exactly spelled. Good luck out there, and thank you to everyone who had their input.

P.S. Im booting from two different hard drives.

Just a problem. In my computer putting your files doesn't work.
I have copied directory /microsoft/ and file BOOTX64 from my W10 disk (in C:/EFI ).
I have renamed the file in BOOTX64-win and all is good.

I just cant get this working!

For some reason i hnow have 4 drive options for my windows install and nothing works... i keep getting the recovery screen, with both the files posted here and using my own files!

I can confirm that xdies method works for me. I tried to add a Windows 10 SSD back into my Hackintosh system. I had to boot Windows first, without OSX connected, create the EFI folder and files according to Logans instructions, copied C:/EFI to a USB Stick and rebooted with both OSX and Windows SSDs connected. (OSX did detect the Windows partitions on desktop). I placed the Microsoft folder inside the OSX EFI partition as well as the bootx64.efi into the boot folder, but renamed the bootx64 to bootx64-win.efi beforehand.

I also had to place ntfs.efi into my clover installation under uefi x64drivers. Since clover did get some ntfs and hibernation problems with the Windows disk. But that probably depends on how you installed Windows in the first place, but its worth a try if Clover cant read your Windows Disk or puts out the repair blue screen.

Right Steps :

1. Boot windows 10/8.1/8 [ In Legacy Mode ].
2. Open Command Prompt [CMD] as administrator
3. Insert Command :
   

   bcdboot C:\Windows /s C: /f uefi

4. Now Go to C drive and then open EFI folder .
5. Copy all the contents into a usb drive [ mainly there are two folder : "Boot" & "Microsoft" ]
6. Restart PC/Notebook , set Boot Mode to UEFI.
7. Boot OSX/MacOS & Mount EFI Partition using Clover configurator or Using Finder-Preference.
8. Open USB drive and go to Boot folder & Rename "bootx64.efi" to "BOOTX64-win.efi"
9. Now open the EFI Partition , Then Open EFI folder & Copy "BOOTX64-win.efi" to BOOT Folder.
10. Go to USB drive again & Copy Microsoft folder to EFI Folder of EFI Partition you mounted. Now you will have 4 folders inside EFI i.e. "Apple", "Boot", "Clover" & "Microsoft".
11. Restart your MAC & choose Windows option from clover bootmenu.

FIX For Only Windows Loading :
After these steps is quite possible that your Notebook/PC is only Booting Windows Partition or drive , to fix it follow theses steps:

1. Go to Bios Setting.
2. Found option like "Add NEW Boot Entry" [ option only available after setting boot mode to UFEI ]
3. Add Name (Your Choice) & Path = " EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi "
4. Save setting and reboot again into BIOS.
5. Move Your this new Boot Entry in Top of Your Boot Mode or Boot Priority .
6. Save BIOS Setting and Restart Normally.
