What "laptop hotkey" are you referring to? Please be specific about your issue.

No difference really between the two ioreg. Both are connecting to DP port at framebuffer@1 (the 0105 port). But you can see the different pixel clock (IOFBCurrentPixelClock).

What do you see in SysPrefs->Displays?

External ASUS 4K Display connect DisplayPort of EliteBook the Asus shows a Resulution 3840 x 2160 and SysPrefs>Display there is under Scaled the Settings with Larger Text.... MoreSpace. Perfect

With Plug in DisplayPort of DockingStation Asus shows a Resulution 1920x1080 and SysPrefs>Display there ist under Scaled max 1080p

No. Cabling are new and Perfect. Boot with Windows everything is great on the two DisplayPort Plug on the Dockingstation. When Plugin Dockingstation the DisplayPort on Notebook are Disabled. I think its change to DS

I mean cabling/timing issue specific to OS X. It would not be surprising. 4k==early adopter penalty.

The way I see it, it is connected to the same location on chip, but going through more copper.

What can i do? I try the other DisplayPort socked on DS it is the same Result an the Cable is the same.

Not all problems can be solved without access to the hardware. Too much experimentation involved to do remotely.
