UniBeast Error: Couldn't copy Base System

Hi,

I have the same problem. Every session ends with the error message: couldn't copy base system. Tried all the methods mentioned above. None of them worked. Please help me!
This is the log file after the incident, I don't know if it helps.

Getting same problems on a 16Gb usb stick on my hackintosh Mavericks 10.9.2 using Unibeast 5.0.2 trying to copy Yosemite system.

I fixed this problem on my Macbook Pro running El Capitan. It turns out it was a permissions issue. To fix it, try the following steps:

1. Highlight your thumb-drive on your desktop, then hold "Command" and then press "I". This should bring up the thumb-drive's info menu.

2. Scroll down to the bottom right hand corner, click on the lock symbol, and when prompted, input your system password.

3. Under "Sharing and Permissions" at the very bottom of the info menu, you should see three categories, your user name, "staff," and "everyone." Make sure the pull down menu under "Privilege" for each of them reads, "Read & Write"

4. Click on the "Options" icon (looks like a cogwheel) at the bottom of the info menu, and then select "apply to enclosed items."

That should fix the problem and allow Unibeast to write to the thumb-drive. Good luck and I hope this works for you!

Format the drive to Mac OS Extended. It worked
