Hi all,

I successfully installed El Capitan on my PC using Clover.

My system specs are:
Intel Core i5-3570K
ASUS STRIX GTX 970 4GB
8GB RAM
500GB HDD

When running Cinebench R15 and benchmarking my CPU, I get an appropriate score but when it comes to benchmarking my GPU (GTX 970) the performance is quite low. I get a score of 62.88 fps, whereas on the Windows side, I get 110 fps or so. I've installed NVIDIA web drivers and disabled the iGPU and even installed NVIDIA CUDA to see if that made a difference, which it did not.

Any possible suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Don't use Cinebench for GPU benchmarking, it's not meaningful at all.

Cinebench is heavily CPU limited, so even a minor increase in driver CPU overhead (e.g. Win vs. OS X) will result in huge performance drops. Use benchmarks like Unigine Heaven or Valley for more meaningful and comparable results.

Really? Wow, I didn't know that. One question though, I switched to a SSD and get slow boot times. It would normally hang around here for 10 seconds then proceed to the desktop. I am using an iMac13,2 SMBIOS on my system as it uses an i5 3470 which is closest to my CPU.
