Unfortunately my hack reboots after the second time this error appears, so not sure if this error is actually an issue, or if there's soemthing else going on.

I've no fixes for LAN selected anyway.

Have you tried this? #4

Simply rename 10.11 folder to 10.12 and put the kexts in there.

I did that on the USB every time. I'm trying to see if I boot into the installer on my second machine after playing around with the config file., So i can figure out what's not working on my main one.

Try putting kexts in /kexts/Other and deleting all of the 10.x folders. That is what I did.

The "Other Folder" is the first folder Clover looks at, no need for the others.

The latest version of clover, the config file from my El Cap's EFI partition, and a lot of swearing I finally booted into the installer, after that it was a breeze, everything works just fine, audio and Siri included

I deleted all of my 10.x folders, used my el cap config file, used most recent clover (11 hours old) and it still times out. If I wait about 8 minutes I get a grey screen and beachball.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Here is my fix.

I had to create the USB installer as per Tony Mac instruction. I then had to mount the EFI partition of the USB installer, copy my config file, and kexts into their respective folders.
The issue was that the kexts and config files weren't copied into the EFI partition upon installing Clover.

Installs now.

I had the same problem If I tried to boot over clover on my ssd. I mean if i tried to boot the installation media over my clover on an already existing system. I can not exactly say what i did to fix this, but i tried a few thinks and one of this thinks was to remove any folder in the kexts folder except the Other folder. After this i put all kexts files in the Other folder. To boot I used:
dart=0 nv_disable=1 -v -f IGPEnabler=Yes
And one other think, i booted into singel user mode and cleared all boot-args in the nvram. I hope i can help and you can understand my cripple english.

I am having the same issue.
A timeout 'kextd wait (0) 'IOAHCIDevice' 240s, but as I was typing this it decided to boot the installer !!!!!!

Now on restart I'm stuck at the same timeout but 60s every time I boot. This is going to get old real fast! Anyone have any tips? I've tried everything in this thread so far. Thanks

Okay this is due to the OSXAptioFix2Drv-64.efi, the differences between the original the Fix2 version is that it seems to work with small solid state devices like USBs and EMMC drives.

I had experimented with this after installing and trying to figure out why it was not booting and halting, make sure you take due caution when changing AptioFix types.
