I have successfully booted an existing Mavericks/Chimera install using a Clover Test USB. See here- http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/move-from-mavericks-multibeast-to-el-capitan-advice.194221/
I'm sort of stuck on what I need to do next. I'm thinking ideally it would be easiest to update to El Capitan right out of the App Store without using a new Unibeast, etc.
What are the next steps? Do I install clover over the top of my existing Mavericks install then do the update to El Cap? If so, how? Or, do I start fresh and blow away everything using the latest Unibeast install? That would be less than ideal, but if ultimately that creates the least amount of pain, then so be it.
In the thread posted at the top, I was directed to go here - http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/direct-update-to-os-x-el-capitan-using-clover.172107/ after having success with the Clover Test USB, but that's for established clover users, which I am not.
If someone can provide some links in logical order, I would appreciate it.
