Step 7 has me confused:

"7. If this is a fresh installation, click Quick Start. UEFI Boot Mode is recommended for 7/8/9+ Series CustoMac desktops and all UEFI capable systems. Legacy Boot Mode is recommended for 5/6 Series CustoMac desktops and all BIOS based systems."

What is "7/8/9+ Series CustoMac" and "5/6 Series CustoMac" referring to and how do I know which I got?
The first number in your motherboard's model number is its series number
eg. GA67M2XXX would be a series 6 motherboard. Which motherboard have you got?

hello,

I was able to re-install El Capitan successfully! But I'm having problems with the screen resolution. It's stuck at 1280 x 1024 but my screen is 1920 x 1080, I never had this problem before. I think the problem has to do with me clearing the RTC ram. But I'm not sure how to get it back to its normal resolution? Any solutions?

system
Intel I7 4770, ASUS H97-Pro, 8GB x2 Ram and Zotac GT 730 2GB DDR-5 Card

I try to install OS X El Capitan start up to boot screen get auto reboot i replace to ASUS GT 610 2GB DDR3 Then it worked fine ......
please guide me how to get support Zotac GT 730 2GB DDR-5..
