are what you know to the shuffle definition 7.2 in preference system, I do not understand the section 17 of the tutorial , I 'm changed and I'm still spare 6.2 macbook air is Haswell , I guess this has an impact on the machine ...

I assume this has something to do with getting a unique ID for your hackintosh so you can use icloud, imessge, etc? I skipped that part because I don't need that stuff. I think mine said it was 7.2, so maybe the current version of Unibeast caters for the Air 7.2?

I've tried two different USB sticks (one 8GB and one 32GB) and with both using the El Cap 10.11.5 I just get "A bootable device has not been detected." - has anyone done a fresh 10.11.5 install on a broadwell NUC? BIOS 348, double checked that I had the suggested BIOS settings. Tried different USB ports as well just in case.

Hey, i installed OS X 10.11.5 fresh on my nuc5i7 with the SM951 NVME PCIe SSD and all worked fine, but i can´t go into sleep mode. When i want to set the nuc into sleep mode, the nuc reboots. Also when i want to shut down the system it reboots, too. I read about the changes in the bios menu, but it doesn´t help. What can I do? Is there a method to fix this problem? Thanks.

It was a combination of the (32GB Patriot USB3) flash drive and the wrong ports. Once I switched ports to the rear ports it worked, but inconsistently. I then also switched flash drives to a different (Same size, manufacturer and speed, though) one and it worked perfectly.

Last hurdle seems to be that my monitor seem to be stuck as mirrored. Will work on that tomorrow, everything else is working great.

A complete newbie here. I was able to install 10.11.3 on my NUC5I3RYH, the computer was running great, and then I made the mistake of updating to 10.11.4 right when it was released. Since then I have been getting the crossed circle sign and the OS does not boot. I have been able to load only into Safe Mode. The Guide has a warning about that but the link is dead... Please, help.

And since then we had 10.11.5 , so I am not sure what that may mean for installation or re-installation. Thank you!

My nuc is 5i5RYK , impossible to boot (USB or HD), appears a forbidden sign after apple logo.

I tried disconnecting usb drives, The unique way to get into system is with -x , but its impossible to mount EFI.

Any solution? Thanks

Boot verbose show photo. Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (remove 'themes').

solved, i have mounted EFI partition in windows (impossible to mount in osx safe mode) with diskpart util, deleted OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi and replaced with OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi found in Capitan desktop support forum.
Now working perfect, thanks.

I'm still struggling with a panic (cpu 2) crash when I try to boot without my USB Bluetooth adapter plugged in. I even have a Dell/Broadcom DW1560 Bluetooth/802.11AC card now installed in my NUC5i5MYHE and it is working just fine with the proper kexts. After the computer boots, I can unplug the Bluetooth adapter and my Apple wireless keyboard and trackpad, and WiFi work just fine with the internal Dell card. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get the computer to boot without the Bluetooth adapter plugged in? My long-term goal is to put this NUC into an iMac G4 computer so I really need to get it to boot without the adapter.

A quick request for help on something that has been driving me crazy. I successfully installed El Capitan (11.3) a while back on my NUC 5i5, with windows 10 dual boot, and it works great. However, I cannot and have never been able to boot into my OSX install using the Unibeast USB -- booting from Unibeast USB and selecting boot the OSX install on my internal hard drive always fails. Booting verbose, I see that the boot process is losing connection/communication with the USB drive somewhere during the boot process, giving the cannot find 'root device' error. I tried the recommended solutions to this: different Unibeast USB drives (2 different USB 2.0, 2 different USB 3.0), a different USB port (both ports on back, both ports on front), a USB 2.0 hub, a USB 3.0 hub. Usually this isn't a problem, since Clover on internal drive -> OSX on internal drive works fine, but since I dual boot, whenever Windows decides to load updates and reassert its boot loader in EFI, thereby bypassing clover, I can't boot OSX anymore.

My solution to this has been cumbersome -- either boot from Unibeast USB to the OSX Installer on Unibeast USB, open terminal, and use terminal to mount the EFI partition, and then use the command line to rename EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi to bootmgfw-orig.efi and then copy cloverx64.efi from the clover/boot folder to bootmgfw.efi in the Microsoft/Boot folder. This works but is always slow, and there are other reasons why I might need to boot into my OSX install on the internal disk using the Unibeast USB. Has anyone run into this, or know how to fix it?

Configuration notes: internal drive is Samsung 950 Pro NVME, both Unibeast USB and internal drive have the nvme driver kext in their EFI partitions; USB drives tried were Adata 64GB usb 3.0, Sandisk 8gb USB 2.0, Corsair 8gb uSB 2.0, another Adata 64gb USB 3.0 (with Unibeast); failure to boot into internal OSX from Unibeast USB occurred before I began dual booting, when it was just OSX.
