Hello Everyone,

I'll start off with the fact that I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to building a hackintosh. This is my first one actually but I'm been searching the forums and so far its helped me a lot but now I'm a bit stuck.

After digging around a bit, I was able to finally get past the black screen/apple logo and boot into the installer for OSX. My current issue is that the installer isn't recognizing my drives. Even if I open terminal and type 'diskutil list' it only shows the USB that its currently booted from. Does anyone know what I can do to get the drives to be recognized?

- Gigabyte Z170x UD5 TH (BIOS ver. F5)
- Intel Skylake 6700k
- 2x Intel 750 PCIe
- 2x Nvidia 980 Ti

I was intrigued enough by this unusual configuration to do some basic research.
I only have suggestions.
There is info on issues with pci-e drives on this website and others, including the Apple forums.
Apple has not made a device with standard PCIe slots since it changed the form factor of the Mac Pro.
Remember that Apple only supports hardware it sells, everything else is accidental or requires end user modifications.

Sh*t. I should have done a little more research before I pulled the plug on them. I'm going to try the driver and see if that would work but I'm not 100% sure how to install it. It seems like this is something you'd have to implement after OSX is installed but I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Grr, after a little more digging around it doesn't seem like there is anyway to use the Intel 750 drives with mac. I'm going to purchase a new drive later today for Mac. Thanks for your help!
