the update got stuck at the end on restarting, black screen and spinner for a long time. I had to reset.
rebooted twice. but now restart hangs everytime. I heard that people said try re-install the combo update over the previous install will fix it. going to try.

combo update didn't change anything.. still hung on the restart at the end of the update. I can boot, but it gets stuck if I restart. Also won't sleep/wake anymore.. have to force a hard reset.. guess its back to 10.11.4 for me..

booted into safe mode.. restart works. saw some message about waiting for USB something during the shutdown..
so i disabled legacy USB in BIOS and rebooted normally. Sleep/wake was working, but restart still hung. So restoring 10.11.4
I wish I kept a 10.11.3 cause 10.11.4 crashes during network file sharing transfer.

after update I lost my TP-LINK Wireless PCIex adapter

Updated through updater just now. Everything is working perfectly. Even trim was unaltered. So far so good.

Hi guys,

I'm new here but I wanted to share my experience regarding 10.11.5 and know is somebody else's got my issue.

Since I installed the new update, I can't have a dual screen with my Mac Book Pro (early 2011). I've got a "GPU Driver appears to be hung" message in the console.app.

I've tried to change the cable as well as the monitor but no success and it was working fine before (in 10.11.4). I was wondering if you had any advice for this matter on how can I resolve this. It's clearly coming from the AMD Radeon 6750M I've got, since the mac switches to the Radeon when I connect the monitor.

Here's the log even if I'm not sure it will help you: http://cl.kowaio.me/0p0H3T2c1B2i

and for my mac's info: http://cl.kowaio.me/0T3C2b2Z1b34

Thanks a lot.

Asrock x99m Fatality Usb 3.1 - updated through AppStore no issues after redoing black screen on boot fix for smbios 6,1.

update without any issues. only the first boot took a while and asked for icloud password before showing desktop.

the other day i even plugged a friend's hdd from macbook pro. used clover to boot my machine and selected his hdd instead.
it booted just fine. only audio was missing as i use voodohda. i guess it has become more and more friendly with non apple hardware.
How long is "awhile" I've been waiting abiut 6 minutes. I don't want to hard reset if I don't need to yet
