Hey Guys,

I've been trying to fix strange behaviour with my wifi ...

OSX 10.11.4 running on Sony Vaio SE laptop (intel 6 series chipset, i7 Sandy, HD3000), Wifi/BT card is AW123H (see sig)

sys-info-wifi.png

System has been working great through all Yosemite and El Cap builds right up until i installed 10.11.4
On boot airport connects to my 5G wifi (3 channel AC) at 867bps ... with no problems:-

Connect-at-867.png

but after a sleep/wake or using the menu icon to power off wifi and then back on it will only connect at 300bps on the 5G wifi

Connect-at-300.png

Have worked through the 1st post again and checked my config/patches and kexts and i think everything is ok, i have unchecked the option for wake on network access in sys prefs as recommended in some posts but that hasn't resolved the issue

Energy.png
Its not a deal breaker but is kind of annoying as it was working fine before 10.11.4, has anyone else seen this behaviour or know of a fix ... my dsdt, config.plist and ioreg dumps (before and after sleep) are in the attached archive.

Cheers
Jay

Disable "Wake for network access" in SysPrefs->Energy Saver.

Airport patch not needed with FakePCIID. Just 5ghz.

Removed Airport kext patch from clover .... but hasn't helped ... issue remains.
Only way to get back to 867Mbs is to reboot but wifi speed drops back to 300Mbs after first sleep/wake or wifi power cycle ....

I don't have an ac network, so cannot verify that I would not run into the same issue.

But look at the differences between my setup for this hardware and yours, I will say that the ACPI injects you're doing are not needed at all.
