Sorry to break into the thread but I don't have enough posts to PM you. I was able to patch ALC3266 (10ec0298) using your HDA patching program and just wanted to say thanks! Also, if you want the xml files to add it in, let me know!

I've tried this on the SP4, but it does not work even though it has the same device id. The SP4 is identified as ALC298 rather than ALC3266 in linux so not sure what that's all about. The nodes are definitely different. If I get a working version of ALC298 on the SP4, I'll let you know.

Here ya go! Personally, I'm ditching the SP4 in favor of the XPS's better compatibility, but I'm sure those who are sticking with it would appreciate some native sound. Also attaching the XPS 12 dump in case you need to check my work.
