Check your temps, I've put my system through Geekbench stress test and max temp is around 48 degrees celsius. It runs pretty cool.

For 2, I'd look at removing network kexts to start. See if the unresponsiveness goes away at the desktop. If your system proves to be more responsive, look for an alternative driver.

3. This will be a BIOS setting possibly to charge devices when the system is off. You probably have limited ports that do this. But as I don't own that motherboard its up to you to do some research, check the motherboard manual.

Had a real max temp round 70 degrees celsius when I played a game :banghead: ,when using Logic temps are normal(40 degrees ),in stable situation around 28 degrees celsius .

Thx again, USB problem was in deed in BIOS  . I am giving up on startup slowdowns, but now I have connected new QHD monitor to HDMI and I cannot get resolution higher than 1080p... MB spec declares that HDMI out is capable of QHD on HDMI 1.4a standard which my monitor supports.

Any hack which I could try to get the max resolution on that HDMI port?

I remember that another moderator had to patch a DP connector to HDMI for the very same purpose to raise the resolution. You've got I x D-sub, 1x DVI-D and 1 x HDMI. Connected to HDMI could you make a copy of IOReg and post it here. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg

Please could you also fill in your profile as requested by the Rules. Motherboard - GA-Z97-D3H etc It'll help us help you. Like it appears under my name on the left. Thanks!

unfortunately i can't get HDMI Audio to work.:banghead:

Hi manne007,

You'll need to patch a connector for HDMI audio. Easiest solution for you would be to use the HDMI cable and do the following:

Mount the EFI partition, open your config.plist with Clover Configurator or a plist editor of your choice.
Navigate to KernelandKextPatches/KextsToPatch and add this entry.

Code:
Find : 01050B000004000007050000
Replace : 01050B000008000007050000
Name : AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer.kext

Restart and test HDMI audio.
Do you mean that your analog ALC only works after switching cables?

I have updated my profile and here is the ioreg :)
Thanks for adding your system to your signature. Could you add the patch for HDMI in Post#126 to your config.plist. Save, restart and check to see if this allows higher resolutions using your supported hardware.

hi wildwillow,

thank you, that kext patch
Code:Comment : 10.11-BDW6200-Port0x5_DP2HDMI
Find : 01050B000004000007050000
Replace : 01050B000008000007050000
Name : AppleIntelBDWFramebuffer.kext

works like a charm.
Many thanks from Germany.
