Also make sure in your BIOS internal graphics memory size is set to 64MB. If its set to 32MB it can cause the same symptoms as you are seeing.

This fixed my artifacts on an ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming with i7-6700k.

sorry no luck anyway thx for d answer.

If you are testing on system using both PCI GPU and Intel HD 530, you should set default GPU on BIOS to iGPU (64MB too) both GPU will work, set default VGA on BiOS to PCI or Auto = not work !

(config.plist setting same as post #1)

Awesome, thank you for the tip with the default VGA it has take away most of the weirdness im experiencing (running i530 + NV-GTX970) only one issue now, when opening a folder from dock, if the folder view is set to grid it lags like crazy..
Luckily no issues while playing videos (the main purpose of that monitor).

which sysdef?

Tony, just letting you know for the first post the platform-id is missing the preceding 0x.

Also, I've tried toleda's display patch and IMEI patch with no success trying to get the iGPU HDMI port to work. I've tried with and without id injection and different combinations of the patches. Was that patch supposed to fix the HDMI issue or am I mistaken?

Thank you! this took care of the last issues with the i530 for me, no more issues with grid folder view in the dock, guess there wasn't full acceleration before :)

I've updated to 10.11.4 and it works well. But, now, I've a problem: I can't set the monitor on HD530 in portrait. I've it works in landscape mode ...
Is there a way to fix it?

I've used the inject-intel way...

Thank you in advance :D
