Short story...

so, i updated my Hacintosh machine as soon as the 10.11.4 went out. The machine booted and died right way, i had no access to my SSD!!:banghead:

Since i had no time to waste and it was already to late, I walked away !!

A couple of minutes ago, I turned it on and ... nothing changed!! So, i turned my MBP on, plugged the SSD from the Hackintosh (using and external USB case), launched the "Disk Utility App", selected the SSD, and pressed "First Aid"... This fixed my problem!! Now I'm @ 10.11.4, no sound glitches, no graphic card problems, my Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard are working flawlessly.

Intel Core i7 @ 3,4 GHz
Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Creative Audigy 2 zs

Updated via MAS without any issues. All works flawlessly, HDMI, Ethernet, Bluetooth, audio, trim....
Since I install OS X with clover, any issues never. No needed install any kext.
I follow the steps that are in the Stork's guide in post 2 in this thread.

My build is in my signature. Thanks all Tonymac´s team for sharing!!:clap::clap:

Hi, updating one of my hacks, GA-B75M-D3P. Went well with the other ones, not with this one.
Was working fine at 10.11, ran Combo update 10.11.4, installation finished without any problems, after restart I get Kernel Panic. Can not even boot Safe Mode, can not boot using USB; same thing happens booting with USB clover. Pretty sure that my EFI folder contained OsxAptioFixDrv2.
I attached 2 pics, one for panic (sorry for cut margin - it´s a TV), and the other one unable to boot using Safe Mode.
The last line before panic I think is FakeSMCKeyStore: started
Thanks in advanced for any help.

Well, after a while and a few hours of sleep, I decided to use a old config.plist file, and it did the trick, was able to boot without any problem. I have to say that before that, I tried all the suggestions from "Big list of solutions installing El Capitan", like checking for SIP status, changing OptioFix versions, FirstAid on disk, and a few more, did'n work.
The main differences between the config.plist file that worked and the one that didn't are in ACPI section. The one working has all Fixes enabled except FixIDE, FixSATA, FakeLPC, FixSBUS. It also enables Generate PStates, Generate States, EnableC6. Probably is just one of the fixes that made it work; I don't plan to find out which one is.
So, if someone has a very early panic while booting, is not able to boot Safe Mode, and has tried all other suggestions, I would suggest using a old backup config.plist or enabling some of the ACPI fixes.
Hope it helps someone.
Thanks to all.

hi guys
I have a NUC 5i7RYH and there is no way to boot after update. Always circle sign at boot. Just only booting with -x mode.

I tried to replace Aptio file but there was impossible because the DrV was not present just installed the Drv2 file installed at the beginning of installation of El capitan.

Also I have seen that it is impossible to change clover version, alway appear the same version at boot.

any help please?

Can someone help me with post installation

Update with combo from 10.11.3 After restart nvidia driver asked for update. Everything seems to work great. My logitech webcams mic works now constant, before it worked only sometimes:clap:

Solved using following method.

Using both AptioFixDrv-64.efi and AptioFix2Drv-64.efi
In config.plist in Rt Variables change CsrActiveConfig from 0x3 to 0x67
and deleted folder APPLE from EFI
after that restart.
Everything goes OK.

I hope this could help to other users

for those unable to boot after update. just remove appleusbxhcipci.kext fom SLE and reboot. no from IOUSBFamilyHost!

This didn't work for me.
I'm also having the Aptio boot error.

Clover USB doesn't work with either fix or fix2, same error persists.
Tried to access EFI on Windows 10 side using the superuser link posted earlier (both methods), doesn't work either.
nv_disable=1 set, so it's not the graphics card.

Only boots in safe mode, which doesn't allow me to access EFI.
