Bluetooth Problem? Newbie help

Hey everyone, I recently finished my first hackintosh - skylake on el capitan, and i'm having some troubles getting my bluetooth up and running. I placed BrcmPatchRam2.kext and BrcmFirmwareData.kext in my EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other folder, but there is still no bluetooth option in system preferences... The Bluetooth device is listed under the list of USB devices, but under bluetooth there is nothing...

Install kexts to the system volume (/L/E or /S/L/E).

You likely have some sort of USB problem. BrcmPatchRAM2 should start, upload firmware, then stop. As you can see from the ioreg, BrcmPatchRAM2 is still resident (HS06 on XHC).

It could also be a problem with the device itself. Did you test it on Windows?

Check your system.log for logs related to BrcmPatchRAM.

Okay it might be a problem with the device. Windows was "unable to install drivers" when I plugged it in. Ordered the GMYLE bluetooth adapter from the buyer's guide. Will update when that arrives. Thanks for all your help :)
 
So I came back from school for the weekend and tried out the GMYLE bluetooth adapter listed on the buyer's guide, and it still doesn't work! I have no idea what's wrong. The adapter works on my other Windows system. I was told to double check which kexts were loading through "kextstat" on terminal. BrcmFirmwareStore and BrcmPatchRAM2 are loaded, BrcmFirmwareData is not. I have BRCMFirmwareData and BRCMPatchRAM2 installed in my S/L/E folder and EFI/CLOVER/kexts folder.

I thought switching the adapter would be the solution to my problem.... I attached the ioreg file with the new adapter just in case it helps with all this...

Check your system.log for output from BrcmPatchRAM. You should not see BrcmPatchRAM2 resident in ioreg like that. The firmware upload process is an "upload and go away" kind of process. Usually takes 1-2 seconds.
