OS X 10.11.4 Update

The solution was to swap out the Clover drivers, and use OsxAptioFix2Drv instead of OsxAptioFixDrv.

This does indeed work but unfortunately you cannot mount your EFI partition in Safe Mode in OSX. The reason is because you cannot read/write FAT32 partitions in Safe Mode.

I have a Windows 10 partition that I booted into and used the first reply to this post to mount the EFI partition.

You could also use a Linux USB boot drive to access the EFI partition.

Essentially what you need to do is:
1. Delete OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi in EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI
2. Copy OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi to EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI

Once done you should be able to boot back into OSX.

I used my Unibeast USB Stick to swap the files :)

Just for clarification does EVERYONE need to use OsxAptioFix2Drv instead? or just older boards? Not everyone is saying they required it so I am curious if it's only specific generation boards that need to change to it while other boards are still fine with original one?

I looked at /System/Library/Extensions

AppleIntelSKLGraphics* were still dated Dec 18 2015

Don't see any new iGPU drivers

IOGraphicsFamily.kext was updated, but that's an open source driver

Gigabyte EP45-UD3L / Xeon 5470 / Clover 3354 / SMBIOS 3,1

10.11.3 was running perfectly, no issues.

10.11.4 Update worked, and actually made it to the desktop past El Capitan black screen hell I've seen so much with this lousy iteration of OSX. There appears now to be a new apple logo with a progress bar just before the desktop appears.

However, problems are abound with this update:

Nvidia acceleration (GTX750) is totally broken with the new "updated" drivers. Why does apple keep breaking the damned video drivers? Completely ridiculous.

Airport is not seeing as many networks as before. Anyone else seeing this? My wifi card is a TP-LINK TL-WDN480

Strange errors are appearing when booting in verbose mode. These drivers (Realtek 8111 & TCNear audio) seem to be working fine, but these ATHR: unknown locale: 14 errors are something new

A ton of incoming network traffic started suddenly coming from world-gen.g.aaplimg.com upon reboot. This appears to be an apple domain. Blocked with little snitch for now. Anyone know what this is?

I would like to know the answer to this question too.
