Hi everyone, I just want to apologize in advance if I'm posting this tread in a wrong area or if there is already one started, but I'm having trouble installing the OS onto my Hackintosh.

Here is my build:

MOBO: Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel Z97N
WiFi/BT Card: AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352HMB
Case/PSU EVGA Hadron Air Mini-ITX Steel Black Chassis with built-in 500W 80Plus
CPU: Intel i7-4790k
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 13 CO
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB
SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 1TB

I followed the instructions entirely, loaded the USB stick and plugged it into a 2.0 USB hubThat part worked successfully.

I did have a bootlog error and I had to use the extra boot flag "nv_disable=1" because of my GPU to get the installation page to show. I installed everything and managed to get to the MultiBeat application.

This is where I'm having serious issues. I choose Legacy Mode and I'm pretty sure I may have choose the wrong settings for booting my Hackintosh, because when I finished installing everything onto my internal SSD, removed the USB stick and rebooted my computer, I was redirected to the UniBeast launch page. I choose to launch off of my internal drive and the screen just went black. Nothing else happened. Can someone please direct me on what I am doing wrong? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for your time :)

Please put your specific motherboard model, CPU model, and GPU model into the system configuration area on the left, and/or your signature. It's hard to give you good advice without having that information on hand on every post. Just putting information into the first post is not enough.

Than, you should be booting in UEFI mode for a Z97 board. So you should boot with your USB drive and re-run Multibeast in UEFI mode and then make sure your computer boots to the system drive in UEFI mode.

Thanks for the tip and response. I have a couple of questions though:

1) Is there any other programs I need to install other than Multibeast?

2) Do I need to remove my graphics card when installing the OS, or should I just use the boot flag "nv_disable=1"?

3) are there anymore boot flags I need to enter?

4) What Multibeast setting should I be using?

Thanks again

Everything you need to know is here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...d4600-gtx-750-ti-using-clover-el-capitan.html

makes no difference if your board is Z97N rather than H97N or that your CPU or gfx card is
different. Print out the pages so you can check off each step as you complete it. Take your time
and it will all work for you. Follow the directions and have success !
