Hi

This is brilliant by the way! it worked great for me got my system set up apart from two issues:

it wont wake from sleep? do you have this issue will wake if you sleep and wake it straight away but leave it longer than 30 seconds and it wont awake?

Also i have windows on a separate drive and clover is creating loads of the mac SSD drive in the bios :/ every restart it generates an extra drive any ideas on this?

Thanks for this again worked brilliant for me a complete beginner.

Mentioned this in another thread but I've used your clover config and do it all boots fine and everything apart from the above and I've just noticed the motherboard LED error lights sticks at 51 does yours do this do you know? I guess it doesn't matter if everything seems to be working?

Thanks

Hey andycorleone, thanks to you I am able to boot my system to the same state that snakelake has his. One thing that I can suggest changing on your guide is on step 6)Mount the EFI Partition with "EFI Mounter v3" delete everything from the "CLOVER" folder replace with the files inside "Final Clover.zip"

If I delete all the content in the clover folder and copy only your items, It removes the clover UEFI Shell from clover start up list. I dont know which folder specifically contains that item. In order to removed the extra bios entries clover shell or windows is needed. As per this:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...r-bios-boot-entries-prevent-further-problems/

Thank you again for your help. Can't wait for everything to work. Here is my setup:

Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming GT (was on sale)
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0 GHz Quad-Core Processor
EVGA GeForce GTX 970
h110i gtx Liquid cooling system
Corsair 16GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz

I have same config any update on creative sound working properly i used voodoo HDA but no luck :(

Hi andycorleone

I have nearly the same setup as you have (besides I have a 980 GTX - no TITAN), but I am in STOP situation and do not make any progress.

Following your USB and BIOS preparation I managed to start the installer.

-> OS X --- to setup the installation, click continue -

I am at this point able to choose the GUID prepared SSD (SATA Port5) but installation is not able to finish.

It - repeatedly - stops at the beginning of the copying the OS X files from the stick to the SSD.
The message says: OS X needs a mount point. :banghead: ... the only option I get offered is a try again restart message.

I already checked several times the disk utility and found the following behavior

* if I check Disk Utility BEFORE starting the installation it says the SSD is mounted
* after the installation quits the SSD is not mounted anymore
* I am able to mount it, but all I can do is restart

I repeated this several times - but no success.

Maybe it has something to do with the BIOS Version I am using. it is F7g beta. What version are you using?

Any IDEAS and support is highly appreciated.

Hi

I know get further "updates".

The installation now quits unsuccessfully with "File System resize support required, such as HFS+ with Journaling enabled"

of course i double checked before and prepared the right partition.

a closer look in the log file states

---- install failed ----
and my interpretation is it that the installer fails to create the recovery partition (EFI is already there).

any ideas, hints and suggestions will be highly appreciated

THX
