Hi Tony !
First or all wish you and the overall community all the best for 2016 !

Now do you mean that you managed to have Thunderbolt working Meaning in version 2 compatibility mode with the GA z170 UD5 TH board
thks

That seems so sillypants why would Apple put 1.5 year old tech into their new product - doesn't sound very Apple

That sounds EXACTLY "very Apple"!!

I'm in a similar position and waiting for Thunderbolt progress before jumping on skylake!

(I'd rather not need it, but stuck with it for audio interfaces etc...)

Has anyone tested the i3-6100 ?
Or you know if it is compatible with El Captain ?

Thanks!

Same here, waiting on TB support.. or at least working. Have my system built, running win 10 sweet as a nut. now just need to get OSX running on it. Have the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 TH board.

After a few weeks of playing around wit my Hackintosh build i found the following problems.

- I have BCM94360CD with PCI-E Mini PCI Express X1 Adapter - everything works except HandOff and my Trackpad Cursor is sometimes extreme extreme slow, unresponsive so that i cant work, restart fixes the problem temporarily

- Nvidia GTX 960 4GB, monitor turns off and on every few seconds, it flickers, i can see some stripes, restart fixes this for a few hours.

- When i turn off my build, it turns on again after a few seconds, need to hold on power button to shutdown manualy.

Hi there,

with 10.11.2 the problems are still there, tried the guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html, no success. But BT, WIFI and iPhone calls are working OOB just Handoff not.

LOG: 10/12/15 18:56:25,899 sharingd[244]: 18:56:25.899 : Device Capabilities (Handoff:YES, Instant Hotspot:YES, AirDrop:YES, Legacy AirDrop:YES, Remote Disc:NO)

With the latest nvidia drivers nothing changed.

Sleep Wake, and shutdown problem persist.

If anyone can help...

Just to update.

Fixed:
- Sleep Wake fixed by unplugging USB - Corsair H110i water cooling.
- Shutdown Fixed in config.plist by activating ShutdownFIX.
- Bluetooth Trackpad is working was only signal issue

Still not working:
- Handoff
- my Monitor flickers and goes black sometimes for 2s (pretty annoying) with Asus Strix 960GTX 4GB (restart fixes for some time) - in Windows works

Has anyone tried with the ASRock H170M PRO4 Motherboard? Any suggestions about it?

Thanks!

KSearch

Asrock H170M PRO4 is working with boot arg "USBFixOwnership" on. (Bios firmware 1.80)
Used unibeast 6.1.1, osx 10.11.2, disabled options in bios, vt-d, serial etc...
i5 6500, 250 ssd evo 850, followed ammulder's comments in skylake starters guide and everything worked,
Currently fixing ssdt for usb ports, still haven't fixed the audio.
Ethernet is working with mausi i219 kext.
I will post the config and ssdt when I am finished with audio and usb.

p.s. using DVI-D, onboard graphic HD530, not fully working

Excited to read this! Thank you for posting it. I'll start my first hackintosh project with this Mobo, a Mini GTX 960 and a m.2 950 Pro. I'll share my achievements here and will be checking for your progress on USB and Audio. :D

I can't boot from the Unibeast-made USB in a Gigabyte B150-HDR mobo, I already disabled safeboot option on BIOS, does anyone know why?
