I think iMessage has me beat. At least on my own.

I've tried checking my serial, adding a UUID in my smbios, deleting files in user library, and lighed out/disbanded iMessage/iCloud but no luck.

I'm on a i7 6700k with a gigabyte z170mx board using the latest Clover in El
Capitan.

While I waited for the recommended broadcom card I used tethering on my hackintosh which worked so-so. As in I could use iMessage but only to mail-based iMessage adresses. Phone-based couldn't send.

Well yesterday my Broadcom card arrived. It works out of the box with wifi/bluetooth but now all the iMessage I try to send won't send. And all my contacts are marked as not registered.

When I turn off and on, all the messages I've sent from other devices appears, but not the ones I recieved.

What to do? The card is in the PCI-e X 1 slot BTW.

Im guessing you have a generic value or a number that is not remaining constant through reboots. Run iMessage debug and post output here, along with your config.plist...

If someone could check out my latest debug/config I would appreciate it. Something is causing me to still get a Contact Support message. There's probably something I missed...

Thanks!

Not too sure about that BoardSerialNumber value.

Generate one with the tool in this thread :
http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/158957-mlb-rom-cloner.html

Thanks for checking!

I guess I'm still confused though... the guide says I need a 17 digit MLB (S/N with 5 random Alphanumerics) for a 12 digit S/N. The generator is giving me a 13 digit MLB.

The BSN (blank on SMBIOS screen) is just inheriting the MLB from the RT Variables screen, correct?

Appreciate the feedback...

I enter it on the SMBIOS page and let the MLB inherit.
I use UseMacAddr0 for ROM.

Well, I'll certainly give that a shot - couldn't hurt to try something different!

As far as the BSN value and length, are you saying I should use the 13 digit value generated by the tool and then add 4 random AlphaNumerics to that?

No, just the generated number.

Well, that still didn't work for me but I'll try and generate a whole new set of values using your tips just to be sure.

Thanks!

Unfortunately that didn't work either, even on a fresh install. I also tried using the 17 digit BSN that Clover generates when you leave the field blank (also on a fresh install) with no luck.

Any other thoughts?
