This is my first post, but I've been doing a ton of reading and trying to sort this on my own before posting.
I just turned an old Intel DX58SO-based system into a hackintosh. I followed the installation guide from this site, using UniBeast and then MultiBeast for El Capitan. In MultiBeast, I ticked the option under Graphics to inject ATI.
Everything is working - boots to HDD, ethernet, Firewire audio (Presonus Firebox) - but I'm stuck with very limited display options.
I have dual monitors, which are both showing the same screen right now. My only option in Systems Preferences > Displays is what it defaults to (1280 x 1024). I'm using 24" monitors via DVI and need full 1080 resolution. But it's also flickering in spots and definitely needs tweaking.
About this Mac > System Report shows the graphics as being ATI Radeon HD 4330M series.
Is there a different setting in MultiBeast I should've selected? Is there another workaround for these older FirePro cards?
I'm so close and this seems to be the last piece of the puzzle, so I'm hoping I can get it working without having to buy a different video card.
Thanks very much in advance!!
