I'm tearing my hair out at the moment as I've followed everything down to the dot but on initial install after a short time the 7537 just keeps going to a black screen with no activity from the USB2 HDD that contains the install_osx disk, stays there and thats it.

But if I press a key the HDD light on install_osx kicks in...its like the display has switched off or something hasnt loaded?

Any ideas? Only change to the system is I am using a Samsung 840 SSD on the laptop I'm installing it onto.

Before the screen goes black and everything stops there are 5-6 Apple logo's what appear to be slices or broken up and then nothing. It does appear to be the display isnt showing anything but perhaps the installer is continuing in the background?

You will need to provide more details on when exactly you're getting this "black screen".

Sorry its a minute or two after booting from Clover into the installer, doesnt get to the welcome screen.

Post EFI/Clover folder. Fill out your profile with hardware specs.

1.so can you boot with your clover usb ?(without black screen)
2.problem occur when trying to boot with internal drive?

Note: you might need to inject your EDID
*** quick tip here:- at black screen close your display lid for about 1-2 min and open

please provide your hardware information !!!!!

Hi,

No the problem is booting with the clover USB in.

Only way I could fix this so far was to deselect "Inject Intel" option from Graphics Section in Clover then the issue didnt happen...so at the moment its allowed me to install OSX....
