The machine is a Lenovo D30, it has 24 Cores and 256GB RAM, it has twice the cores of the biggest Mac Pro and 4 times the maximum memory!
At the moment the only OSes it runs are Windows and Linux, please help me getting El Capitan to run on it! Not being able to run OS X on it is a shame, If I succeed, it will be one of the biggest hackingtoshes ever.
The farest I could get is right after the bluetooth controller transport message I get a Prohibited sign with scrambled characters, it looks like a "still waiting for a boot device" message though,
What I have tried to address this issue so far:
- cpus=1 option
- nv_disable=1 option
- -x option
- -f option
- using OsxLowMemFixDrv-64.efi
- using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi
- using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi
- I tried all the USB ports
- tried the 8x USB 2.0 ports and the 4x USB 3 ports
I tried to start the install from an internal HDD I prepared with ./createinstallmedia, and I'm still getting the exact same issue.
Guys, if I succeed to install El Capitan, I will write an entire guide with all the details so anybody with a similar machine car install OS X.
Any idea?
