I installed the 10.11.1 update also from App Store. Everything went well but I lost audio and the front USB 3.0 slots won't work. I installed El Capitan 10.11 as presented in the tonymacx86 El Capitan installion guide BUT I didn't install the audio kext. I installed from Multibeast Yosemite edition the AppleHDA-1150.pkg. Audio worked fine untill this update even when woke up from sleep. How can I get the front USB 3.0 and audio to work? I'm using Clover version 3292. I also want to inform that I'm new to hackintosh, not new to mac. And at last, should the Clover Configurator be found in the System Preferences?

Hello

i donwnloaded the full installer from the applestore and made a bootdrive with Unibeast. Clover starts, after choosing to boot the OS X it will end quite quickly with a no access sign.

No Installation yet running on my msi z170a with skylake i7 6700k.
It was the same screen I had in the first el capitan atempt where it ends up.
So not sure if it's chip set or cpu not supported, or if it's some other problem.

Also I did not find the "load optimized defaults' in the msi bios as recommended for previous msi boards.
I did set the nv_disable=1 in the boot arguments.

Updated thru app store ok - did not lose sound (ALC1150) or USB3 functionality. Original installation was clean install via clover (3270) and patched for USB3.

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H; i7-4790K; PNY GTX 760

What could cause audio and front USB3 loss on my build? I see we have same mb and cpu.

My system is updated succesfully.
Updated via Apple Store like a Mac. No kexts needed. All works fine, trim, audio, graphic card, USB3.0....
Only one restart during update.

First time using Clover, is easier than Multibeast.

Hi,

I recently had a problem with one of my machine and had to do the installation from the beginning using the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail DVD and update to 10.6.8.

Now I can use the OS X 10.11.1 uptade from app store to upgrade the Snow Leopard?

Tx.

I didn't find any solution to get the USB3 to work so I decided to downgrade to 10.11 and now USB3 is working just fine. This update didn't work for me.

Hi,

I updated my Mac Pro 5,1 with a 980ti to 10.11.1 recently.

The problem I have now is that the video card doesn't produce any video signal anymore, I think it's because the nvidia web drivers drivers are incompatible.

Is there a way yo update the drivers without using the Video card? I have kind of a chicken egg problem now, because I can't install the drivers without seeing anything on the screen and I can't see anything on the screen without updating the drivers D:

Happy to report that 10.11.1 fixed all the problems so far that I had with 10.11.0, it even re-enabled my Bluetooth which did not want to work with 10.11.0. nothing was broken after update except that I had to re-install the new nvidia drivers for my gtx 970 and once it did that, it re-enabled my HDMI Audio kext after restart. Smoothest update I have had in my entire hackintosh experience by far!
