You'll have to enter the data by hand. Use google to find Broadwell SMBIOS information (board-id, BIOS version, model identifier, serial# suffix, etc).

I think I have most of it, but how do I input the model identifier of 2925 in the Clover Configurator SMBIOS screen? If not there, is there a way to manually put this entry in the config.plist?

Not sure what you mean by "model identifier of 2925"...

But all data in config.plist/SMBIOS is documented in the Clover wiki.

I got the model identifier of 2925 from here:

MacBook Air "Core i7" 2.2 13" (Early 2015) 2.2 GHz Core i7 (I7-5650U)

[TR="bgcolor: #CECECE"]
Intro. March 9, 2015 Disc. None
Order BTO/CTO Model A1466 (EMC 2925)
Family Early 2015 ID MacBookAir7,2
RAM 4 GB VRAM 1.5 GB
Storage 128 GB, 256 GB SSD Optical None*
Complete MacBook Air "Core i7" 2.2 13" (Early 2015) Specs
Is there a way to specify the above model information is the config.plist? I think that should show this machine as an Early 2105 versus the Mid 2013 it currently being shown.

That is EMC version. Model identifier is MacBookAir7,2.

Okay, I found the correct suffix for the Early 2015 MBA. The only remaining erroneous identifying component is the processor which is showing i5, when this machine actually is an i7 processor. I just want to make sure the OS is utilizing the proper power management and performance abilities of this machine to its fullest.

I haven't been able to figure out where OS X farms the processor name from. Anyone know where and how to properly reflect the i7 here? Not just cosmetically in the About this Mac, but making sure the OS sees and uses the i7 processor. Thanks!

It is probably just cosmetic. OS X has no choice but to "use the i7 processor" as that is the only CPU in the laptop.

I got mine identified correctly, I think you have to properly set up Native Power Management and use the latest Clover r3280.

When you click the System Report, what is the reported "Model Identifier", MacBookAir7.2 or just MacBookAir7?

Thanks for the reply, but I'm pretty sure I have power management set up properly with 10 p-states being found and I'm using the most current Clover r3292.

I'm going to dig into PM further, but not too hopeful to find improvements there...
