Need drivers for Realtek USB WiFi RTL8812AU

I now see that Realtek USB WiFi drivers sneak out onto the Web every so often... Looks like v2.3.9 or below is not compatible with El Capitan, but v2.3.11 is compatible. It looks like a Google search for "all-in-one-kext-for-realtek-wireless-usb-adapters-el-capitan-ready" turns up some download links.

Did you end up finding anything in the end?

So far as i searched seemed like either outdated or unsupported.

For a while on Yosemite until drivers where in just unpackaged the installer for the drivers, modified the installer if statements that check for OS X version, then packaged it and installed as normal which kinda worked, as there where issues with if unplugging the device it would freeze the system, sometimes it would just freeze on boot and other issues with launching the network tool for them.

For Yosemite and also now for El Capitan have tried contacting D-Link support, which btw is total ****, no help or replies received. My best bet is to try searching different manufacturers that use the same Realtek chipset for El Capitan support

Yes, everything I found would count as "unsupported". But it did work, there was just no uninstaller (the "supported" one seems to come with both install and uninstall packages; the 2.3.11 archives I found contained only the install package).

I'm not going to recommend any specific download site, because I really am not familiar enough with any of them to suggest that you download a repackaged driver from there. That said:

The driver will cause my T450s running El Capitan crash from time to time (Console shows it is caused by Realtek WALN driver from the crash dump). But another AC600 Wifi USB adapter with MT7610 chipset is running well (LB1 High Performance 600Mbps Long-Range USB Wifi Wireless-AC/N LAN Network Adapter from Amazon) !!

Any idea where I can get drivers for a Realtek RTL8812AU USB 802.11ac adapter? I see this quite dated post but I was hoping for something more current. Thanks!
