[Guide] Lenovo Y50 (UHD or 1080p) using Clover UEFI (10.11)

Not according to the ioreg in post #5. The injector looks up-to-date, except for the mistake I just checked in a change for...

The one from EFI/Clover/kexts/Other has no effect, since FakeSMC is installed to /S/L/E.

As always though... this is always smart:
Code:
git pull
./download.sh
./install_downloads.sh

Or in this case, a bit less time involved:
Code:
git pull
make install_usb

Your ioreg shows the injector kext NOT installed.

LOL, so that sorta goes back to the point that PCIID_XHCIMux alone is enough rofl

You might want to verify... since your conclusions yesterday may be flawed.

I'm testing it now. PCIID alone allows everything to work. I'm seeing if injector works. I just verified that the ports I gave you were good. Now we'll see if the injector itself allows for mounting of network drive

Update: Rehabman, it works fine
I'm attaching my new ioreg with it actually injecting lol
You can also see under the USB Blackberry device that the tethering network en2 and en3 are correctly mounted

so now what's the latest setup you are using ?

pciid in extensions only
and usbxhci_y50 in clover kexts folder only ?
or what ?

i'm sure that i'm using the latest usbxhci_y50 in both extensions and clover so it's not the problem

To be certain you're using the latest injector...

Post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Yes. This is with the latest injector installed & loaded...

Note that whether the network interfaces show in ioreg depends more on what you do in SysPrefs->Network... That is... whether you added the interfaces or not. More of a pilot error/user error sort of thing. I say that with limited knowledge though... I've never owned a Blackberry.

I'm using the latest USBxhci_y50 in extensions. As rehabman said, clover folder doesn't do anything
As you can see in the ioreg, the device is tethering properly with en2 and en3
If without USBXHCI_y50.kext it doesn't work for you, and with it, it doesn't either, then maybe it's a phone specific issue with El Capitan (which is actually not that uncommon)
I can only test with my BlackBerry as that's the one tethering and networking usb device I have
