My system (ex58 ud5) keeps hanging at "com.apple.driver.usbuhcipci 1.0.1", i tried a wide load of boot flags with the Clover configurator, but no success so far.

Anybody got an idea?

I have the same problem with my sabertooth x58, resolves the config.plist who posted tony?

Click install clover in ESP

Also, I think Tony's config file unchecked nvidia injection. I have a gtx 480 and did not need any boot flags after I rechecked nvidia injection.

I think your right; also what do you mean click install clover in ESP? Tony's after installation tools is just a couple of install packages for now.
Here is the problem if we install Legacy one, we get the boot0af: error (because the drive uses the GUID partition scheme), however we also know OS X can't be installed on a MBR drive, so how does this work?

I had to get clover from source forge to reveal that option. Tonymac seems to have disabled tinkering in his version. You can install and get into the El Capitan desktop to fiddle with getting audio and USB3 working... Install clover to ESP and boot0af to MBR seemed to work. My Hard drive is formatted GUID. Also I cannot get clover to boot into Windows 10. Chameleon/Chimera did.

Here's my first attempt.

I had a spare USB harddrive, so I formatted it into 2 partitions. I also followed the guide from the home page and left the partition table as GUID.

1) First Partition is 10Gb in size and named USB
2) Second is named ELCAP and is all the remaining space.
3) Followed UNIBEAST guide to create a bootable USB drive, I used my first partition and installed the installer to here, selecting Legacy mode for our X58 board.
4) With the original config.plist installed it wouldn't boot to the installer it was failing with a Bluetooth controller Transport error, because the graphics mode was set to Intel 'Yes'. I changed it to 'No'.
5) I read other help and learnt that you can drop your current dsdt.aml into /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched i did this because the only change I've made to my DSDT is adding my graphics card name. 'XFX 5870' and hdmi audio.
6) Same as above for my SMBIOS.plist, this can be placed into /EFI/CLOVER. But I don't think mine is being used because my System info is saying that its a iMac 2009. When my smbios says its a Mac Pro 2010.
7) Ran the installer and installed El Cap to my ELCAP partition. On my first boot it restarted by itself then it booted up allowing me to setup an account.
8) Everything so far seems to be working. I use HDMI for my sound (DSDT has edits). Sorry except USB 3 speeds. I have a USB 3 pci card and my external drives are mounted but its not usb 3 speeds. My keyboard and mouse are plugged into the same pci card but they stop working because it warns me that to much power is being used by USB unplug something.

I haven't ran STEP 5: Post-Installation with Clover yet. I'm just happy that most things are working.

I never had Messages working because I believe my board ga-x58-oc has issues with keeping its ID's so my messages was blocked. I can log in now and that also seems to work. Probably will get blocked again though.

I'm now going to clone my main drive(Yosemite) and try installing clover to that. If I get clover working on that then I will update to El Cap.

I'll keep you updated. Thanks

Yes RazerX, its a little slow because its a usb drive but it does shutdown first time.

hah, here's the weird thing, shutdown works if i booted from the Clover installed to the usb drive, but not from the clover on the hard disk. same files, same version wtf
