I managed to get my system UEFI Clover booting without USB like 25% of the time, lol.

Most of the time Clover spits out "unable to load kernel cache 0x9" and goes to sleep. I find it odd that this doesn't always happen.

Does anyone know why?

Hey guys,

Installed El Capitan using this guide on my ASUS Maximus VI Formula, 4770k, GTX780TI machine successfully.

Just a few things left not working yet.

During step 5.8/9;8.
Download and open Clover Configurator: It automatically finds 3 different config files
1: El Capitan > EFI > CLOVER >config.plist
2: El Capitan > EFI > CLOVER > OEM > SystemProductName > config.plist
3: El Capitan > EFI > CLOVER > OEM > SystemProductName > UEFI > config.plist

Now am I supposed to make the changes to SMBIOS on all of the 3 above? Still can't seem to be able to boot to OSX without the USB

Also, still no Audio, hoping someone here can help me?

I tried loading toleda's audio_cloverALC-110.command and after typing my password it tells me no EFI partition is mounted and asks to confirm clover legacy install with y/n (not sure what to do here)

I got WiFi working with KextBeast and the BCM4352.zip file here on the forums. Just seem to still need audio.

I have OSX installed on a RAID0 (3x 265GB Samsung 850 pro ssds) using diskutil during initial setup. also using the internal intel graphics since nv_disable=1 didn't work initially. Post-install I went ahead and downloaded the nvidia web drivers and cuda drivers and got my GTX780TI working well so went back to the BIOS and disabled iGPU again. Not sure if I need any other drivers to optimize speed, all seems good on that area.

Unable to launch installer during boot from USB. Kernel Panic at "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport"... From what I have read on this forum and other websites, it seems to be a graphics issue. I have tried to boot using -x -v -s and still no luck. Currently running Mavericks 10.9.5 without any issues using PCIRootUID=0 npci=0x2000 and dart=0 with Chimera 3.0.1. Not sure what to do with Clover??

My hardware is GA-Z77-D3H rev 1.0 (F18 BIOS), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB, Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHZ, 2TB SATA HD.

How do I fix the graphics issue? Please help

I have the same M/B, and the same issue. Booting from USB drive shows a stop sign at around 75% completion, and the last message shown with -v option is the bluetooth controller thing.
So yeah, it would be interesting to know if anyone managed to complete boot with a Z77X-D3H motherboard.

Thank You! As always great instructions, I had a some freezing with sound issues. I installed the new flash, Java, and sound drivers and the freezing went away.

No the boot0af means that you have to format the USB in MBR not GUID. Could mean the start of more trouble- I had to do this for X58 install.

This boot0 guide pertains to Chimera, not Clover.

Didn't check before, I did now and you're right, usb3 works as usb2. You found any solutions?

I just follow this excellent guide and USB 3.0 is working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
