for Intel HD 4400 graphics card how you doing?

Anybody have luck installing it on x99 machines?

I had it running on my Asus X99-Deluxe + 5930k machine with audio. I used UniBeast 6.0 to create a the installer, but then patched it with a different Config.plist and alternate kexts to get it booting. But the machine didn't run well. Even at stock speeds my Geekbench 3.0 scores were low and inconsistent. It's farther than I ever got with this machine, but still frustrated by flakey turbo modes and failed overclocks. I'm keeping this machine on Windows 10 for now.

Meanwhile my ASUS Maximus VI Hero + 4770K work great with Clover and El Cap. I've messed with Clover before but couldn't get it working. UniBeast 6 changed all that - it works like a charm.

I will agree with many of the members here. I, too, followed every single instruction to get EL CAPITAN working on my build. For the past 3 years, I was highly satisfied with Chimera/Unibeast to install updates until Yosemite. I was trying to install EL CAP on a new SSD so I wouldn't have to touch my current Yosemite SSD. While Clover may truly work for some, I presume the majority are scratching their balls in utter disappointment at using clover to load EL CAP. I will keep my system on Yosemite for the moment until (hopefully) Tonymac or macman can get to iron out the problems with clover/unibeast installation. I do appreciate all the work put into this. Two things may happen if I can't get EL CAP to load trouble free on my system: 1. Buy a bloody expensive Mac or 2. Go windows 10 or Linux :(

i opted for 1. a couple years ago and have never looked back.got my 2012 mac book pro for half price last year on craigslist from a guy who addmittedly has ocd and its immaculate.
-i also shelled out 5k on a new mac pro. only reason I'm still on this site is i built my girl a hack:crazy: (x58a-ud3r) thats been going strong for 4 years. all thanks to this site of course
never even considered option 2 for one second

GIGABYTE P67A-UD5-B3
i7 2600K
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 760 2GB OC

Everything works great.. except USB3 ports.

Tried this with my GA Z87X-UD5H & Nvidia 760 rig. Everything seems to work except:

  • USB3 ports (none of them work)
  • ALC898 Audio (without running the CloverALC110 script, the line-out/speaker audio works but the headphone port does not. If I install the 898 kext via the script, the headphone jack works but the speaker port doesn't. It's either one or the other.)

UPDATE: After following this procedure, my USB3 ports are working.

UPDATE #2: The audio "problem" wasn't a problem. The OS is switching to headphone output when they're plugged in. Otherwise, output goes to the speakers. I don't remember my previous Yosemite/Multibeast config working like that, I guess that's why I thought something was wrong. Now it works as one would expect it work.. Never mind.

As always, a great guide! I have manage to install two of my "iMacs" to El Capitan using this guide without any problems. I will post how I did it later when I have done my stability tests, it might be useful to someone.

But! Why not mounting EFI partition before install Clover, as in the regular Cloverguide? If you don´t mount EFI Clover will install on "Machintosh HD" partition, if you mount EFI Clover will install on EFI partition, as in the regular Cloverguide. And why not install the kexts to the native "Clover Kext folder"?

For a Hackintosh noob like me this site is the best!

Best regards and keep up the good job!
