Are you sure USB interface is GUID ? This error came out to me when I tried to prepare Master boot USB.

I am not using the "Inject ATI" option or anything like that.

No luck so far with my install tried many things still can't get past boot. Yosemite works fine.

Tried using the following kexts in the 10.10 and 10.11 folder.

nullcpupowermanagement
network drivers
fakesmc

Doing something wrong maybe ?

I have the same issue after directly updating from Yosemite. The installer probably finished upgrading (I was away taking a shower) and after I am back it cannot boot with the same error.

Any suggestions?

I have downloaded the latest version of FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and will report back if it worked.

I started creating the unibeast usb at 1 pm , it's 3 pm now and still not done, usb 2.0 . am i doing anything wrong or what???

I have a lenovo t440p here, and i made the stick for yesimite.. when i select boot from osx ... the apple logo comes and freezes.. nothing happens ?

i started the installation agein now i see error: root device uuid is "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

edit2: now error: error loading kernel cashe 0xe after flags -x -v

I did have this problem. Solution was enable the UEFI mode from the bios and prepare the USB using UEFI. Legacy mode throw this to me.
