Black screen when booting X8DAH + GeForce GTX 580

Hi,
I am working with an Hackintosh Yosemite 10.10.4 built on LGA 1366 X8DAH + mac ati 5770.
I have a Gainward GeForce GTX 580 3072MB “Phantom” on slot 6, and it is working in OS X, with latest nvidia drivers.
BUT I cannot get to BOOT with only the GTX 580.
It seems like a boot problem related to the video card or something about its ACPI…
I have tried many boot flags, but I had no luck?
Can anyone help me?

Hi daddo,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I seem to have similar issues, with the difference that I am using a Geforce 580 + Intel HD4600, they work together (sort of), but when booting the 580 alone, the system reboots just before entering the desktop..

Any one have any suggestions for fixing this? I am running Yosemite 10.10.5.

To anyone having a similar problem, what solved it for me was to inject "Nvidia" using the clover configurator. I would imagine that you could do something similar using Chimaera.

Chimera would be GraphicsEnabler=Yes
