Hi,
I've (more or less) successfully installed OS X 10.10.5 on my Acer Aspire V3-771 using Clover. Since more than a week I try to get my integrated GPU working.

My problem is, that Clover boots sometimes with QE/CI and sometimes without! Also the installed Theme is not shown at every boot. I've tried many things and bootflags - without success. I've also played around with the config.plist - without success. The resolution is 1600x900 at every boot. And sometimes it boots with 384MB VRAM (when QE/CI works) and sometimes with 5MB VRAM.

I boot with: dart=0 kext-dev-mode=1 GraphicsEnabler=No

Could you please help me get my HD3000 working at every boot, and not only sometimes? My actual config.plist is attached. View attachment config.plist

Thanks in advance! :)

My specs: Acer Aspire V3-771
Intel Core i3 2328M (sandy bridge) @ 2.20 GHz
Mainboard: VA70_HC4GB RAM
Intel HD3000:
Hersteller:Intel (0x8086)

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

GraphicsEnabler has no effect with Clover.

Which chipset is in your laptop?

The config.plist is not correct for HD3000. See guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

Please add it to your profile as requested in the guide. Your config.plist is wrong... not expected to work.

See guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

I read your Guide two times, but still I don't know how to create a working config.plist. Do I have to disable patches according to your guide?

EDIT: I've read it a third time. So I can take a config.plist from https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clo...ive/master.zip, right?

Correct... Based on what you've provided about your hardware so far... config_HD3000_1600x900_7series.plist.

(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

I will try it in a minute.

Done :)

Not done. Here's what I see:

Should be:
Mobo: Acer Aspire V3-771 (Clover)
CPU: i3-2328M/HM77
Graphics: HD3000/1600x900

Your score: 2 out of 6.

Hope its now better.

Ive tried it with your config.plist (HD300, 7series, 1600x900) but when I boot Clover doesn't show any bootable system. It loads the theme and the buttons but I can't select a drive to boot from.

I've booted now from my USB stick.

Sounds like you forgot to copy HFSPlus.efi. Follow the guide carefully.
