OK, so I flashed the BIOS. My new BIOS contained the minimum requirements per Nikki's linked guide.

I was able to complete the 10.10.4 install with no issues to my HD. So far so good :)

I turned on kext-dev-mode=1 by sudo'ing my nvram, and placed the following kexts into the Extensions>Common folder on my EFI partition:
AppleHDA.kext
AppleIntelE1000e.kext

My OS X does not detect ethernet, nor any sound hardware

I don't have a Ozmosis.defaults.plist in there yet. Is that what I'm missing?

Hey dude did you read the tread? at least say hello.

this is my post...

1. My about this mac says 3.8 but max speed is 3.4 in intel gadget (Intel Core i5 3570K), I inserted compressed in to the Bios Firmware, the kext for Ethernet AppleIntelE1000,(It fits and works perfectly) and the kext and the FakeSMC(Still not sure if needed, worked without it), you did this????

Lets not waste time with random questions, please read.

Hi Luchobe -
See my post from immediately before yours for my hello :)

i read the thread in full and followed the linked guide very carefully, but I didn't have success getting those devices recognized, so I figured I must be missing something.

I tried placing those kext->ffs directly in the bios after I had Yosemite installed, but after a KP, I decided I better get everything working from the efi load before finalizing it in bios.

Hi man, I just got working everything from the bios, don't know why not booting from the hard drive the Ozmosis preferences...

I have problems with EIST, is not throttling good, and the sleep is not working either, does not wake up, but everything else is perfect,(from bios mod). I have a 3570k is supposed to go up to 3.8Ghz, but goes to 3.4.

(I got the fast boot ON, working from bios config)
(erased the thunderbolt kexts)

How was yours?

I haven't checked EIST/processor speeds yet, but I did get all my kexts to load now.

I tried putting the audio kext and hdaenabler on the EFI with all the other kexts, but it didn't work, so I had to use Nikki's method of using Multibeast to get sound working on the ALC898.

But ethernet works, I have a good MLB and ROM config (using macmini6,2), and iMessage works. Sleep seems to be working.

So next, I will mess around more with getting the audio to work from EFI, and see if speed-stepping works. Once all is good, I will move everything (that will fit) onto the BIOS.

One interesting thing I have, is my main boot disk is a 128GB mSATA (which uses SATA 5), so my ozmosis EFI partition is actually on my first GUID partition (on SATA 0), which is which is the HD where I keep my user accounts. This seems to work OK, and just in case, I made sure that oz installed itself on all my other HDs. When I make significant changes to kexts or the defaults, I ensure all the EFI's are the same. I have considered repartitioning those other HDs to Apple Partition Map so that there is just one EFI to maintain. Maybe I will give that a try once I move everything to the BIOS.

Where did you put the values from Apple MAC Hack into the Defaults.plist file for Ozmosis, were there particular keys you added or should they correspond to differently named keys on the Ozmosis Side?

EDIT:

Never mind I see there's a place in my ROM file called OzmosisDefaults, I used the KExt2FFs tool to replace this with my customized compressed version then booted back into Windows and used the replace command in MM2TOOL to set my values....Was able to get iMessage working in Yosemite, now working on getting El Capitan Working.

Awesome! Glad you saw the fix.

I'm still trying to push this system further. I've been given a nice pair of 6TB HGST Ultrastar K6000 drives on the way and I may purchase another one in tandem with a RAID card. That way, I should be able to set up a RAID 5 system with some decent speed. (I'm struggling to back up all the things to Amazon Cloud Drive)

Update:

Now rocking a Rocket RAID 2720GSL, and I finally figured out what was causing that slow boot: It was the SonnetTech PCIe card!

I had to take the SonnetTech card out to get the 2720GSL in (all my bays were occupied) and the thing is a lot faster once we've got past POST.

Another quick update from this system.

A few weeks ago, it decided that it hated me completely, causing kernel panics, refusing to boot up, and eventually refusing to do anything.

It turns out the 12TB RAID 0 configuration (where my /user folders were) had decided to corrupt itself. Luckily, I had a cloud backup.

The only way to get things running again was to create a new user account for me. Everything is okay now, but I'm going to wait until the 10.12 update pushes before I try and do anything fancy.

Watch this space.
