Please help! I have built many PCs before but this is my first Mac. I dont know what I am doing wrong, this is my set up:

Mother Board - ASRock H97M
CPU - i5-4570
Ram - KVR16N11S8K2/8 (Kingston)
HD - Toshiba 128GB Q Series Pro PC Internal Solid State Drive
Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 4600

I boot up the UniBeast USB and I can start the installer, it gets a little over an eighth the way through the bar before it just freezes. I think it has something to do with my Graphics because if I have it plugged into my HD monitor, when it gets to this point it turns the screen to "snow". I have tried all of the bellow boot flags together and separately:

-v, -x, -no-zp, npci=0x3000, nv_disable=1, IGPlatformID=0D220003, IGPEnabler=Yes, GraphicsEnabler=No

and nothing has gotten me past the freeze point :banghead:

when I use Verbose Mode this is where it stops:

PLEASE HELP!

PLEASE HELP!

Connect monitor with DVI-DVI or HDMI-HDMI cable, avoid VGA and conversion cables.

Then try booting with "dart=0 IGPEnabler=Yes -f -v"

Thanks for the reply, but its still locked up in the same spot.

I didn't realize that there was a whole list of Compatible components.

My CPU and Motherboard are on the list but my Ram and SSD are not. Do you think that could cause the Installer to bail?

Which connection you are using for monitor?

What is the current BIOS version?

No.

Try booting with dart=0 PCIRootUID=0 -f -v -x

SUCCESS!!!

What is the current BIOS version?

GREAT QUESTION! It had H97M P1.10 on it so I got the latest version P1.90.

The first time I just tried:

dart=0 PCIRootUID=0 -f -v -x

It still stopped in the same place but I tried a brute force attack and just threw in all of the boot options I had been trying:

dart=0 PCIRootUID=0 IGPEnabler=Yes npci=0x3000 nv_disable=1 IGPlatformID=0D220003 GraphicsEnabler=No -f -F -v -x
And one or all of them got it to install :headbang:

Thank you SOOOO much for your help!

Great....

Complete the installation and MultiBeast installation with proper selections.

I may have spoke too soon, the installation went well and it rebooted using the USB and now there is a "Yosemite" boot-up option, so I started Step 5:post Install with MultiBeast. I selected it and it froze too, so I tried to boot "Yosemite" with the same boot loaders that worked for the original install and it still froze up.

Where it is getting stuck??

Boot with addition of flag -v and post photo of the frozen screen with messages.
