I have a question about an option in Clover Configurator

Hi guys, I have a question about an option in the config.plist file. This isn't a question about an issue I'm having, I was just wondering what ResetHDA does. Using the option to resolve my audio breaking upon reboot for my HDMI was suggested to me, so that's why I was wondering.

Not sure if it worked yet, but that's beside the point. Obviously it reset's some sort of audio drivers or files, but what exactly does reset mean in this context?
