So I need a little assistance with installing OSX on this laptop (Asus UX305FA-ASM1). I've successfully installed OSX on various computers over the years using Chimera, but I'm having some issues with Clover.
I've followed "[Guide] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover UEFI" with both the precompiled r3202 and building the latest version of clover myself (I've tried to build r3202 myself but I've been running into some errors). The USB drive I used is formatted as a MBR. I've used a recent config.plist that has been posted on this thread as well as edited versions of those provided by RehabMan's OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config for both HD5000 and HD5300 (I've only been changing the ig-platform-id to make sure it is "0x16160002" and the theme to whatever I installed with Clover). Additionally I have been primarily doing this with only RehabMan's FakeSMC.kext, GenericUSBXHCI.kext and VoodooPS2Controller.kext in the Other folder.
I can get Clover EFI to start, however when I select the OSX install partition it stops at "root device uuid is 'XXXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX'" (The Xs are real alpanumeric sequence, I just didn't feel like writing it down). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've liked this laptop very much and would like to get Yosemite running alongside Windows 8.1 and Linux Mint 17.1, which I already have on this machine.
