Save yourself a bag of hurt and get a i3-4360 to get HD4600.

Using a Z97 motherboard on a non-overclockable CPU is a waste

I think you should at least get a 4360 as well, even then, the 4600 isn't supported out the box in Yosemite, I think you need to use a boot loader like chameleon/clover to get it to work, I'm glad I don't have to deal with all that, better to use a budget standalone GPU that's got twice/three times the power.

Hold on here. Advising a CPU that has Intel HD 4600 support is not currently the best answer.

There has been much work completed to get support for HD 4400 and it works like a charm if you take the time to follow the path provided. See: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...tel-hd4200-hd4400-hd4600-mobile-yosemite.html

The FakePCIID path is more complicated but worth the effort in many cases. I say this from my personal experience with one of my project machines; See post # 10 of this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/others/139389-neilharts-scratch-build-5-doodle-concepts.html

I used a i3-4170 in a GA-B85N with Clover and had a very good result. I posted the config.plist file for those that would want to make the same or similar edits.
