No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

User fail, see Post #1. There is only one port that works with each audio device. Reply with the color of the port that works with each audio device noted above.

none of my ports work with any of the audio devices! that's why I'm here.
i am assuming that my green (Line Out) jack should correspond to Internal Speakers Built-in - as described there is NO SOUND, no crackle or hum

my pink (Mic In) jack has also never responded in Yosemite - no audio input signal showing from Internal Microphone Built-in

that leaves my orange black and gray as likely suspects for my 2 other Line Out Audio line-out port devices - this i assume is configurable

this isn't a user fail - this is a user making a thorough double-blind scientific approach to determine cause of problem and thus solve the mystery - and yes i'll plug my headphones into my mic socket if it makes me feel better - anything to give me any clue as to where this problem lies!

I'm now down to total fresh install each time step-by-step for each & every patching procedure - no joy
could you perhaps try suggesting a complete install procedure?
or at least suggest where the problem may lie.. greyed-out iTunes transport is surely a clue

less of this 'user fail' hater-baiting please - wrong thread - post to We're All Grown-ups Here

Correct. Post #433, do you agree 15 of 18 experiments were unnecessary? For the three ports that support analog audio, verify the configuration is correct and attach an IOReg for each.

Yes after careful consideration i realize 15 out of 18 were a total :beachball: - thank you for clarifying.

I have opted for another CLEAN install of 10.10.3 (i have updated my unibeast USB to latest Yos download)
Attached info is with MultiBeast 7.3 - I hope this is correct for my setup and not a detour.
Green, Orange & Black IORegs are included - thanks for progress

(10.10.3 / GA-X79-UP4 (rev1.0) / BIOS F7 / i7-3930K / ASUS GTX 770)

Orange IOReg shows 1st Line Out selected and speakers connected to green
Black IOReg shows 2nd Line Out selected and speakers connected to green
What model speakers are connected? What audio is playing in iTubes?
ssdt is useless for your processor, remove.
