Upgraded my Video Card today to a EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC (Model recommended in the Build Guide) Had no end of issues but somehow seem to have graphics now but No HDMI Graphics - rather annoying.

Had to Change my model from iMac 14,1 to MacPro 6,1 to get the drivers installed at all and then found I couldn't get past the blue screen after the apple at boot on My Asus Monitor...

I'm on Clover and all the Guides were saying nvda_drv=1 and No Intel Injection... That's what I had... that's where I got locked out!

Changed nvda_drv to 0 and enabled Injection and that did it. I'm amazed that my rig is almost exactly what the Guide recommended and I have to do different to get the Graphics to work at all.

Still, might help someone so decided to share the result

Drivers tested: WebDriver-346.01.02f02
Cuda Version: 7.0.36

EDIT: Just updated via the Sys Prefs NV updater to Ver 346.01.02f04 and completely breaks my build... Get past the Apple Logo on boot and then No Monitor/Blank Screen no matter what configuration I use for nvda_drv and injection....

Anyone got this working on a similar build?

I just updated and black screen. Only with nv_disable=1 I can get in..... Please tell me how to fix. Maybe I will go back to the old drivers...

You can get back into Yosemite with that Flag... then just download the .03 version (last one) re-install it and reboot as normal!

Please someone give us a HDMI miracle for these cards... My new GTX 750 Ti SC is totally useless for the purpose I bought it for. Runs perfectly on Winblows though! Had to rip it out and put back in my GT 240 until such time. May even have to sell it!

I think you have other issues causing your graphics to not work properly. HDMI works fine with my GTX 970 and the guide is right because it should be nvda_drv=1 and inject nvidia - false.

Thx Slim Jim...

Some help would be appreciated... I was at this literally all day yesterday, even bought a DPort yo HDMI adaptor which also did not work. Seriously frustrated... $250 spent and down from 2 monitors to 1 (instead of the desired up to 3!!!)

I have both those flags checked in Clover!

Remove nv_drv=1, boot with nv_disable=1 flag instead and using Clover Configurator move away from MacPro6,1 to a different sysdef. Latest drivers along with 10.10.3 will get you HDMI out.

I'll give this a shot... what exactly does nv_disable=1 do? Disable nvidia? (Kinda defeats the purpose if that's the case...

I see you have a similar enough rig... what Sys def are you using? (This may be the culprit but I'd like to see If I can replicate what you have on a like for like)

Thanks for the tips but I'll hold off til I hear back from you....

*also...what of NVDA injection?

nv_disable temporarily disables the graphics acceleration but allows you to boot with the GPU installed and install drivers if needed. With a Maxwell card you should not use Inject Nvidia or GraphicsEnabler.

Just at boot time then I take it? once up you have full acceleration?

Big Thanks Guys.... all 3 up and running on 14,2

I saw in the guide there was an issue with the 6,1 profile... probaly what was affecting me but since I'm on Haswell I reckon the 14,2 is the better profile for this build
